Indian Paradise…. Customers keep coming back for more!

by Gerald Gilbert

Kamal, the owner and head chef at the Indian Paradise restaurant in Christchurch Road Boscombe says he offers a unique twist to his wide range of curries, Balties, and Tandori dishes.

His customers decisively agree and say they like the very wide range of original flavours that are constantly changing and the staffs ‘very good friendly service.’

Kamal regularly experiments with an extensive Asian ingredients and spices which make his dishes an original Indian experience.

I personally tried the time honoured vegetable Ceylon with Pilau rice (There are vegetarian alternatives for every dish.)

The rice had a soft aromatic flavour as would be expected but was light and loose (no stickiness.) while the curry itself was a delectable mix of fused flavours, delicate and subtle yet still enough bite to justify its madras hotness.

I was left feeling satisfied and not a bit bloated as it was not the slightest bit stodgy or heavy.

The restaurant itself has seats for seventy people and the surroundings offer traditional Indian paintings and as a special touch there is a 28” plasma TV showing non-stop Bollywood films.

It has been in operating successfully for the last five years. Customers keep coming back for more and with its extensive range of dishes (161 in total) including the extra special ‘Indian Tapas’ it is not surprising it is a five star award winner.
