Bournemouth at night – what is your vision?
The Bournemouth Townwatch Partnership invites you to take part in two workshop events, both part of the “Bournemouth By Night” project. We are inviting you as we believe you have a keen interest in the success of the town centre at night and will have a vital contribution to make.
The overall aim of the “Bournemouth By Night” project is to develop a clear vision for the town centre at night. In order to do this effectively, the project team need to engage with a wide variety of community groups, businesses and residents to understand how the town centre is used after dark and how it can be improved.
Running the project on behalf of the Bournemouth Townwatch Partnership is Feria Urbanism, a Bournemouth-based urban design practice who have undertaken similar successful studies in Weymouth, Liverpool and London.
The details of the two events are as follows:
• 9.30am to 1.00pm on Thursday 15th March 2012
• 9.30am to 1.00pm on Tuesday 24th April 2012
Both events are at the The Durley Dean Hotel, 28 West Cliff Road, BH2 5HE.
These events will be highly interactive and will require participants to talk openly about the town as it is now and how it could be in future. You will need to come prepared to share your thoughts, test new concepts and react to different ideas for change.
If you are unable to attend, please feel free to pass on this invitation to a colleague within your organsiation who can.
